The MT-03 is the R3 undressed: same compact platform, but with a flat handlebar where the clip-ons were. The result is one of the gentlest riding positions in the LAMS class — bolt upright, zero wrist pressure, and a 780 mm seat on a bike light enough to paddle around a car park without thinking. Who the MT-03 fits
One of the easiest starts in motorcycling for riders 155–170 cm: low, slim, light and upright.
Prefer it over the R3 if wrist comfort matters more to you than wind protection — the triangle differs only at the handlebar.
Riders over ~180 cm will find the knee angle tight on longer rides even though the upright bar fits them fine.
Very light steering and low weight make it forgiving of low-speed mistakes — a real advantage for brand-new riders.
